Crosby® turnbuckle, HG-228, Jaw-Jaw End/End, 1/2 in thread diameter, 2200 lb working load limit, 9 in take up, 17.43 in close length, steel, hot dipped galvanized.

Features
  • End fittings are quenched and tempered or normalized, bodies heat treated by normalizing
  • Forged jaw ends are fitted with bolts and nuts for 1/4 in through 5/8 in and pins and cotters on 3/4 in through 2-3/4 in sizes
  • Modified UNJ thread on end fittings for improved fatigue properties
  • Body has UNC threads
  • Importantly, these turnbuckles meet other critical performance requirements including fatigue life, impact properties and material traceability, not addressed by ASME B30.26
