Features
- Bit is constructed of M-7 high speed steel for high resistance to abrasion during tough drilling applications
- Three flatted shank design provides better chuck grip and reduces slippage, ideal for use in keyless chucks
- High speed steel (HSS) provides good wear resistance and can be used in general purpose applications on both ferrous and nonferrous materials
- Oxide coating prevents chip building, galling and welding on the workpiece
- Round shanks with flats are ground flat on three sides for increased chuck grip, reducing slippage and help centering the drill in the chuck
- All silver and deming bits are 6 in long and feature a 1/2 in reduced shank that fits all 1/2 in drills
- Engineered with premium high speed steel with black oxide coating for corrosion resistance
