Patented Heavy-Lift Technology — Manufactured by Hanes Supply
Why Riggers Choose Slingmax®
Slingmax® roundslings deliver capacities up to 750,000 lb while weighing up to 90% less than wire rope slings of equal capacity. Easier to rig, safer to inspect, and engineered with patented technologies you won't find in any standard roundsling.
Twin-Path® Design
Two independent load-bearing paths in a single sling. Each path is a complete, separate sling assembly — providing redundancy that single-path roundslings simply can't match on critical lifts.
Check-Fast® Inspection
An external GO / NO-GO indicator takes the guesswork out of roundsling inspection. If the External Warning Indicator retracts, the sling comes out of service — no subjective judgment calls on invisible core damage.
Covermax® Cover
A patented cover engineered for superior abrasion and cut resistance with UV protection — extending working life in the harshest jobsite conditions while protecting the load-bearing core yarns inside.
Built for the Heaviest Lifts
Slingmax® Twin-Path® slings are the industry standard for critical and engineered lifts — wind turbine components, bridge girders, transformers, vessels, and precast concrete. With Twin-Path® capacities up to 300,000 lb and Helix® slings reaching 750,000 lb vertical, there are few loads these slings can't handle. Single-Path models offer the same cover technology for standard-duty applications.

• We manufacture them. Empire Rigging is a DBA of Hanes Supply Inc., an authorized Slingmax® manufacturer. Every sling is fabricated and load-tested at our ISO 9001:2015 registered facility in Buffalo, NY.
• Test certificates included. Full documentation ships with every sling — proof testing, material traceability, and compliance paperwork.
• Custom lengths and capacities. Don't see the configuration you need? We build custom Slingmax® assemblies to your exact specification.
• Expert support. Our rigging engineers help you size the right sling for your lift — including sling angle and capacity calculations.
Inspection & Care
Like all synthetic roundslings, Slingmax® slings must be visually inspected before each use and periodically per OSHA and ASME B30.9. The Check-Fast® system makes this dramatically easier — but knowing all the removal-from-service criteria still matters. See our complete Sling Inspection Checklist and our guide on choosing the right lifting sling for your application.
